My bad day at tu manawa sport

It was the worst!

Today at Tu manawa sport we played ki orahi, Once all the girls and all the boys lined up to get there colour band on there hips but before that we had to put black belts on. First we got spilt into two lines a girls one and a boys one. Once we got spilt in our team i was so happy because it had fdast and fit people but some people in my team was cheating there were picked to come into the yellow but instead went to the red team. Once we got sorted we all realized that the people in the red team hasmore then the yellow so we had to restart. I WAS MAD!

WE restarted and got into equal teams But the thing was when we got into the game we started out normal with playing peacefully and then in the last minutes we had thirteen and the othere team had ten i was so happy when in the last ten seconds we dropped down to ten in points well the other team had thirteen. Our whole team was confused and angry. I dont know if the coach got mucked up in opur teams points or if he is cheating.

The end .

Tongan language week

Tongan language week

On Friday the 8th of September we celebrated the week of Tongan language week.

On Friday all the tongan children dressed up in traditional tongan clothes for tongan week. And all the tongan children’s parents brang a traditional tongan dish for Glen Innes School to try.

On the second block all the Tongan children gathered in the  hall to make sure all the Tongan children would practise and know the Hymn and the song we were about to sing in front of the whole school assembly.

When the classes arrived in the second block each kid from each class got to try pani keke, otai, and lu all of them enjoyed it because it was easy to see how delicious it was and the joy in their faces because of the food.

And last but not least on the third block we had a very very special and exciting assembly. Once the class came Miss Tu’akoi introduced the tongan group and taught the audience how to count in tongan. After that we sang the hymn and the tongan group danced on the stage.

HAPPY TONGAN LANGUAGE WEEK

Fatima Matariki Mountains

Today in cybersmart we created Matariki Moutains. We used the polyline tool to make close shapes for our moutains. The reason why we use the polyline tool so our shapes were closed so that we could give the shape some colour and pop. We also use the dupilcate button and the arrange button. We use the dupilcate button to dupilcate the mountains and we used the arrnge button to arrange the mountains.

The Importance of maths

The Importance of maths

Firstly I think people should at least do one maths equation because it is good for your young or old brain. Also maths is one of the most important subjects in the world. Secondly maths is important because you learned it in primary school and in high school college and freshman you will even learn harder things in maths.

Some believe that maths isn’t that important because they don’t believe maths doesn’t help in life but it surely does. Maths helps with counting money at the register. It helps with how much money to give and how much money you will receive.

Therefore maths is important because once you learn something new it’s good to learn it again. In our class in maths we always have a revision. We learn new things and have a revision so you can know it like a click.

Conclusion : Last but not least, maths is fun because you can learn new things like Fractions, decimals, place value, percentages, multiplication, BEDMAS and many more new things. Take my advice and learn maths.
